Archbishop's mass : All are welcome to come and join in celebrating mass with Archbishop Hickey with a nice, lovely lunch afterwards.

All are welcome to come and join in celebrating mass with the Archbishop of the Perth diocese, and to celebrate the 75th Birthday of Archbishop Hickey who is a UWA alumni. Afterwards a nice lovely lunch is provided on the balcony above guild village cafe.

According to the Catholic Church’s law

all bishops are to write their letter of retirement

to the Pope upon reaching that age.

The Pope does not usually grant immediately the request.

Let’s hope Archbishop Hickey can stay with us many more years.
