This workshop aims to demonstrate the power of mathematics as a formal language. We discuss basic logic and methods of proof. This workshop requires mathematical notation as a prerequisite. Each student will be given a set of worksheets to complete. Topics include: Statements, converses, contrapositives, axioms, conjectures and theorems, types of proof.
