SEMINAR: Geographic Resources at UWA
|
|
The University of Western Australia provides a range of geographic resources from analog paper maps to state-of-the-art digital Geographic Information System (GIS) data. Recently the Science library has provided a new home for the University's map collection and has been instrumental in negotiating a GIS data license through Landgate's Shared Land Information Platform (SLIP). This seminar will outline the availability and use of these data sources and provide a technical primer for using SLIP data within a GIS.
