EVENT: EARTH HOUR ON-CAMPUS INITIATIVE

UWA has a goal to reduce its weekend power usage by 10% in recognition of Earth Hour. When leaving campus from Friday 25 March – Sunday 27 March, staff and students are requested to:-

1.Shut down your personal computer and monitor 2.Switch off unnecessary devices and equipment 3.Elect a colleague or yourself to switch off lights, air-conditioning and communal equipment at the end of the work day. 4.Abstain from switching off equipment if it would hinder experiments or background operations etc. If in doubt consult your supervisor.
