EVENT: Sessional Staff Professional Development Day 2011

The purpose of the day is:
- To recognise the important role sessional teachers play in the delivery of a quality student experience and to thank them for their contribution.
- To provide an opportunity to join and develop a supportive community of sessional teachers at UWA
- To provide tangible advice and guidance in the form of short sessions to induct and support sessional staff in their role as teachers
Who should attend:
-Sessional staff may be honours or postgraduate students who tutor for a semester or two, through to highly skilled and qualified clinicians and practising professionals.
-Sessional teachers can include adjunct title holders and clinical academics.
-Anyone who is employed to teach at UWA on a casual basis, or has a fractional appointment less than 0.5FTE
-Anyone who teaches unpaid as part of their professional role.
