This workshop will act as a refresher course for students who do not feel confident working with numbers, or have little training in numeracy. In particular, students who are enrolled in the maths enabling course (MATH0060) should consider this workshop to be the first step in their journey. Each student will be given a set of worksheets to complete. Topics include: types of numbers and operations, order of operations, lowest common multiple, greatest common factor, fractions, decimals, significant figures, scientific notation, units.
