CONCERT: A Bohemian Christmas with Collegium Musicum

Enjoy the ambience of historic Winthrop Hall melded into the magic of Christmas with Collegium Musicum Choir's evening of superb choral music. Accompanied by the recently restored UWA pipe-organ, a costumed dramatized tableau of carols from Europe with excerpts from Puccini's La Bohème, will be capped by community carols by candlelight. To enhance your experience, you will be serenaded by a roaming Salvation Army Perth Citadel Band playing favourite carols during an extended picnic dinner interval on the lawns by the reflection pond. Repertoire includes Mozart's Exultate Deo & Laudate Dominum, Dvorak's Mass in D, carols from Bohemia wound through the story of La Bohème, and traditional carols accompanied by soaring choral descants and massive organ textures.
