EXHIBITION: BFA Exhibition
|
|
Eighteen graduating students of the 2010 Bachelor of Fine Arts programme will present their final exhibition, a culmination of three years of study at UWA's ALVA Faculty, marking the end of their journey as undergraduate students and their emergence into the art world.
The 2010 Graduation Exhibition exposes innovative and critically engaged artworks. These works demonstrate the students well developed conceptual awareness and ability to deconstruct and analyse art practice itself, as well as many varying social, cultural, political and environmental concerns.
The graduates of UWA's Fine Arts course have spent the last three years developing their technical skills and experience with an exciting diversity of media.
Featured in the exhibition are a number of works ranging from film to installation, performance, painting, drawing, three dimensional constructions, new media and photography, exploring and deconstructing contemporary social and cultural issues with a refreshing passion particular to new emerging artists.
OFFICIAL OPENING - November 4, 6pm to 10pm at the Cullity Gallery.
