Seminar: Oceans Institute Postgrad and Early Career Workshops : How to write a winning research funding application! |
Other events...
|
Target audience: Early Career Researchers, PhD students or anyone looking for a refresher from Oceans Institute, FECM and FNAS.
This session will focus on filling in a typical research funding application form, based on the ARC Discovery and Linkage Project schemes, but of relevance to many others.
The session will include an overview of what to include, how assessment is usually done, and hints and tips from experts (highly successful applicants and assessment panel members) on understanding what will attract the assessors: the nature of the project, the budget, what not to say, what to say and how best to say it. There will be plenty of time for your questions too.
