Groups and Combinatorics Seminar
Hua Zhang (UWA)
will speak on
Finite vertex-biprimitive tetravalent graphs
at 1pm Tuesday 12th of October in MLR2.
Abstract: A graph is called vertex-biprimitive if it is bipartite and
its automorphism group acts transitively on the edges, preserves the two
parts and acts primitively on each part. Based on the classification of
amalgams of edge-transitive cubic graphs given by Goldschmidt (1980),
Ivanov and Iofinova classified vertex-biprimitive edge-transitive cubic
graphs (1985). In this talk I will report our recent work (with Cai
Heng) on the classification of vertex-biprimitive edge-transitive
tetravalent graphs .
All welcome.
