Where East meets West in Health : Chinese Medicine Other events...
What is Chinese Medicine?

Prof Charlie Xue provides an historical perspective, as well as the philosophy, fundamental principles and contemporary practice. Although well accepted in the mainstream of medical care throughout East Asia, it is still considered an alternative medical system in much of the Western world. So where does the East meet the West? What is the role of Chinese medicine in the national health care system alternative, complementary or integrative?

Prof Charlie Xue is Foundation Professor and Discipline Head (Chinese Medicine) at RMIT. He is also Director of the Traditional and Complementary Medicine Research Program (TCMRP) at the RMIT Health Innovations Research Institute.
