On Wednesday 6th October from 2-4.30pm the School of Music shall be running a workshop in association with Catch Music as part of Mental Health Week. There will be a performance following the workshop from 5-5.45pm.
The workshop will have participants from the community - some of whom are very able musicians, some of whom are beginners - and we are encouraging the participation of students. Sing, play percussion, electric guitar, cello or
whatever your main instrument, you are welcome to come along to join in the fun. We will workshop several popular songs, making arrangements as we go.
If you are interested in community music or just a great opportunity to jam with a diverse group of people, we encourage you to join in.
Expressions of interest for participation, please respond to Pip White by Friday 17th September. You will then be given precise event details.
