Afghanistan: Looking into the Future : Lunch Seminar on Afghanistan presented by Ambassador Ronald E. Neumann, former US Ambassador to Afghanistan, on 9 August Other events...
Developments in Afghanistan and Pakistan have come to occupy central place in determining the future directions of global stability. The discussion of a shift from counter-terrorism to counterinsurgency, the need for an exit strategy and the future scenarios in the region have attracted attention of policy makers, analysts and citizens around the world. Ambassador Neumann will speak about the future of this region, with particular focus on Afghanistan and draw upon his knowledge of the region acquired through long years of association with the country.

Presented by the Centre for Muslim States and Societies and sponsored by the US Department of State.

Price (including lunch): $65 and $35 for concessions (includes CMSS members).
