Sufism remains a significant form of Islamic identity in Pakistan. While militants attempt to introduce harsher interpretations of Islam, the sufi tradition and sufi
poetry continues to provide a counterpoint for others around the country. This evening provides a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in Sufi music and
poetry. It is organized to commemorate the contributions made by Begum Sarfraz Iqbal for the promotion of Urdu literature.
