•Senior Gledden Fellow Professor Mark Garnich, of the University of Wyoming, will provide an insider’s view of the establishment and operation of a private company (Firehole Technologies, Inc.) based on technology developed as part of his research.
•Dr Paul Watts and Dr Richard Hopkins, of Phylogica, will discuss their experiences managing a publicly listed biotechnology company, and the challenges faced in marketing technology both to potential commercial customers and the broader public investing community.
The discussion will be moderated by Associate Professor Jeremy Leggoe, Director of the UWA CEED program and member of the School of Chemical and Mechanical Engineering.
