The Importance of Patents with regard to IP Litigation in the Pharmaceutical Industry Other events...
A free seminar, co-sponsored by the Institute of Advanced Studies and the Office of Innovation and Industry at UWA, KCA and Wrays.

This seminar will explore various aspects of the chemistry related to granted patents and how it relates to some selected IP litigation cases. The importance of getting the claims right in patenting will be highlighted as well as what happens if you don’t. The seminar will be of specific relevance to researchers (both post-graduate students, early career researchers and other staff) in the chemical and biotechnology disciplines, particularly those wishing to know more about patents, litigation and commercialisation.
