CONCERT: Artistry Concert 1 - Sartory String Quartet

Since their formation in 2003, the exciting young Sartory String Quartet has achieved much recognition both in Australia and overseas. The Quartet features Daniel Kossov and Pascale Whiting on violins, Katherine Corecig on viola and Sophie Walker on cello. The Quartet appears at the annual Blackwood River Chamber Music Festival as well as other renowned concert series in Perth. In 2005 the ensemble was chosen to represent Western Australia at the World Expo in Aichi, Japan and in 2007 the players toured New South Wales and Victoria, featured as the Australian Youth Orchestra’s Young Australian Concert Artists ‘Regional Resident String Quartet’. Audiences will delight in the program featuring Debussy's String Quartet, Schubert's Quartettsatz and his majestic string quartet nicknamed "Death and the Maiden".
