Keith Munro is Curator of Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander Programs at the Museum of Contemporary Art, Sydney. In this talk he will explain his role as the curator of the exhibition Ricky Maynard: Portrait of a Distant Land, which he developed and toured to various galleries throughout Australia. Keith, who worked closely with the artist Ricky Maynard in the evolution of this project, will share his insights into Ricky’s unique form of documentary photography and its importance to Australian art.
