COURSE: Introductory Statistics Using SPSS (PASW)

The course is designed for people with little or no knowledge of statistics. It will be spread over two/three days covering material ranging from means and standard deviations to simple linear regression, and basic ANOVA. Some basic categorical data analysis will be included with the emphasis throughout being placed on applications rather than theory. The statistical package SPSS (PASW) will be used to illustrate ideas demonstrated, however this course is aimed at enabling an understanding of basic statistics.
