SEMINAR: Prostate cancer screening: debates and answers

The longstanding debate as to whether prostate cancer screening is a worthwhile exercise has been bought back into the limelight following the recent completion of the combined European study into prostate cancer screening.

At a similar time further conflicting data has come from the USA. This talk will address clinical perspectives both historical and updated on the issue of prostate cancer screening. Attitudes to this subject remain widely variable in the general medical community. An updated clarification in light of new information is timely.
