Join us in the Octagon Foyer to view a display of memorabilia and enjoy the company of performers and supporters of the Octagon Theatre over 40 years.
The Vice-Chancellor will welcome guests and introduce Aarne Neeme, the inaugural Director of the Octagon Theatre Company (1969-71), who will speak about the early years of the Octagon.
Mr Neeme, who is a Sydney-based lecturer, theatre and television director, has a long-standing involvement in theatre in Western Australia. He was Artistic Director at the Playhouse Perth (1973-77), Head of the Theatre Department, WA Academy of Performing Arts (1985-89) and Artistic Director of the Hole in the Wall Theatre (1990-91).
Drinks and canapes will follow.
