EVENT: Palliative Care WA

The Annual St Luke's Day Service will be held on the evening of Thursday 15 October 2009 in Perth. The Service is an opportunity for people from all walks of life to come together with palliative care service providers to remember the lives of people close to them who have died in the previous year.

The Service is named after St Luke, patron saint of physicians. St Luke's Day is celebrated on 18 October every year. Palliative Care WA Inc has worked with local palliative care services since 1982 to organise the Service, which is normally attended by about 1,000 people.
