This breakfast event is presented by the UWA Business School and The University Club of Western Australia.
The Australian Governments’ proposed Emissions Trading
Scheme – The Carbon Pollution Reduction Scheme – and its
overall impact on our daily lives will be discussed by panellists who will provide perspectives from an industry, government and community view point. Panellists will include Professor Carmen Lawrence, Professorial Fellow at The University of Western Australia; Tim McAuliffe, Alcoa’s General Manager of Corporate Affairs and Carbon Strategy and Trevor Power, Director of the Household and Industry Assistance, Emissions Trading Division, Federal Department of Climate Change. The breakfast will be moderated by Sharon Mascher, Associate Dean of the Faculty of Law and Deputy Director, Environment, at the Centre for Mining, Energy and Resources Law at The University of Western Australia.
This event is open to members as well as non-members of The University Club.
Price: Members $39/Guests $49, or $390 for a table of 10.
Price includes a sit down two-course breakfast.
