Professor Ruth Gilbert is Director of the Centre for Evidence-based Child Health, Centre for Paediatric Epidemiology and Biostatistics, University College London - Institute of Child Health. The two current strands of Professor Gilbert's research, infections and child maltreatment, incorporate evidence synthesis with analyses of large routine databases and primary studies.
