Political scientist Dr Emanuele Ottolenghi, executive director of Brussels' Transatlantic Institute, will consider the prospects for the establishment of a Palestinian state in light of the current political environment in the Middle East. He will consider the political and strategic situation in Israel and the surrounding region.
Dr Emanuele Ottolenghi is the executive director of the Transatlantic Institute. A political scientist by training, he came to Brussels in 2006 after having previously taught Israel Studies at the Oxford Centre for Hebrew and Jewish Studies and at the Middle East Centre of St. Antony’s College, Oxford University. He obtained his Ph.D. at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and did his undergraduate studies at the University of Bologna.
