FREE PUBLIC LECTURE - ALL WELCOME. Robert French, UWA graduate in science and law and Chief Justice of the High Court of Australia, returns to Perth to deliver the inaugural annual lecture of the recently-established UWA Historical Society in association with Convocation - the UWA Graduates Association. The Chief Justice will refer to his participation in Guild politics during the sixties and how involvement in campus affairs influenced his subsequent legal career.
