COURSE: Traditional Chinese Painting Short Course

Traditional Chinese Painting Short Course : A practical introductory course introducing Impressionistic and Fine Painting styles. Other events...
Students will:

•Learn about the tools and materials needed for Chinese painting including characteristics such as the absorbent nature of rice paper and different ways of using the brush.

•Develop basic skills in different styles of painting through watching demonstrations and hands-on exercises.

•Gain exposure to and understanding of some of the masters and classical painting texts of traditional and contemporary China

Course Fee: $330 (includes GST)

(ink, paint, brushes and rice paper for use in class included)

Monday nights: 6.30 - 8.30pm

Dates: 1st June, 8th June, 15th June, 22nd June, 29th June

Course Instructor:

Ms SUN Huilin was trained in traditional Chinese art, Western art and graphic design in Beijing. She taught Chinese language, art and Chinese chess at the International School of Beijing before moving to Perth in 2003. She graduated in 2007 with a Bachelor of Visual Arts degree from Edith Cowan University.
