Out There! : Free public open day and lecture on the Square Kilometre Array (SKA) radio telescope project Other events...
As part of Out There!, a hands-on public exhibition focused on the Square Kilometre Array (SKA) radio telescope, Professor Peter Quinn will present a fascinating talk at 12 noon on its incredible potential.

You’ll find out just how the SKA radio telescope, which is up to 50 times more sensitive than present-day instruments, will revolutionise our understanding of the origin and evolution of the universe.

The free Out There! exhibition will also feature hands-on activities providing an equally fascinating insight into the physics behind radio astronomy and the mysteries of the universe, including the Big Bang, the Dark Ages and First Light.

Talk: 12.00noon [Venue: Wilsmore Lecture Theatre, adjacent to the MCS Building, UWA]
