To bring fictional characters to life for readers, writers first need to bring them alive for themselves. These workshops are designed to equip writers with strategies for creating characters and developing them through a process of familiarisation and engagement. A variety of tools will be used to build on the work of each session, including analysis, writing exercises and at-home activities.
