COURSE: WRITING EFFECTIVE BOOK REVIEWS

The course aims to help participants write effective and publishable book reviews across a variety of genres. It will develop the skills and techniques required to purposefully critique texts. The basics of writing style appropriate to criticism will be discussed and implemented in a variety of practical exercises. Participants will finish the course confident that they can submit book reviews with the best of them to any national newspaper or literary journal.
