The Square Kilometre Array (SKA) will be one of the largest and most ambitious international science projects ever devised. Vastly more sensitive than the world's best existing radio telescopes, it will help to answer fundamental questions about the evolution of the universe. Australia and South Africa are currently competing to host the SKA with a final decision to be made by 2012. Find out about Australia's SKA efforts and the opportunities and advances it will bring to our science, technology and education.
