May is Teaching and Learning Month at UWA.
Teaching and Learning Month is all about discovering, discussing, pursuing, celebrating and valuing excellence in teaching and learning at UWA.
The theme of Teaching and Learning Month 2009 is ‘Engaging Students Through the Curriculum’.
There will be a numerous activities being held throughout the university from 11 – 29 May which you can check online now at www.catl.uwa.edu.au/teachingmonth
Some of the featured events during Teaching and Learning month include:
18 May – Workshop - “Team Based Learning: An In-Class Strategy for going Beyond Covering Content” conducted by Professor Larry Michaelsen, Professor of Management at Central Missouri State University. 1pm-3pm, Law Lecture Theatre – register at: http://www.catl.uwa.edu.au/page/155968
