Charles is an Adjunct Professor in the Centre for Forensic Science. He specialises in bones, old bones and very old bones. One particular skeleton comes from 18,000 years ago. Such a long-ago time would seem to place it in an evolutionary context. Being a physician as well as an anthropologist, however, Charles thinks there may be another explanation for what must be a VERY cold case.
