The population of Perth is projected to more double by 2050. How do we expect to accommodate these people? Urban sprawl or teetering high-rise? New suburbs that can feed themselves and new high rise mini-cities? Significantly increasing the density of development along both the coast and the River? This lecture received an overwhelming response in 2008 and received an overwhelming response. Since then, population projections have increased, the government has changed and the global economy has plummeted. Richard will present his scenarios for Perth's future in the light of these changes. His work has been awarded in international design competitions.
