Professor Beazley will draw on his political experience and defence expertise to examine what the Obama Administration's first few months in office reveal for the future of the Australian-American relationship. The decisions made by the US Administration on crucial issues such as the Iraq and Afghanistan wars and the American defence budget will have significant repercussions for Australia's key alliance.
