SEMINAR: Growing up - Integrated Human Studies seminar

The transition from childhood to adulthood can be fraught with difficulty. Young people may experience anxiety and even anger as they move towards accepting adult responsibilities. Is there more reason than ever for them to be angry at the world they have been handed? What are the issues that concern today’s youth? Many societies have formal rituals that recognise and celebrate the transition. Does our culture have a rite of passage? Law student Zarah Burgess, comedian Kerry O'Sullivan and Rev Canon Richard Pengelley will share different perspectives. All are welcome to attend and participate in moderated discussion after the talks.
