The 2009 John Inverarity Cup cricket match will be played on Monday, 2 March from 2 pm at James Oval, on campus at The University of Western Australia. The Vice-Chancellor’s XI will include members of the university’s A grade side and the John Inverarity XI will consist of some current and former WA state and national players.
This Twenty/20 competition was last held in 2006. The event, formerly part of the Festival of Cricket, was first played in 2001. The following year the former WA Premier, the Honourable Dr Geoff Gallop, captained his team.
UWA Alumni and members of the public are welcome to come along & enjoy this fast-paced game, admission is free.
