Hailed by London HiFi News and Record Review as “a formidable and insightful pianist”, Stephanie McCallum has had an international career of over twenty-fi ve years as a concert and recording artist. She plays a wide range of music from the eighteenth century to the present day, making a particular specialisation of the virtuosic music of Liszt and Alkan and of demanding contemporary scores. Stephanie’s most recent release is a disc of Beethoven’s complete Bagatelles, recorded for ABC Classics in 2008, and released to critical acclaim. UWA School of Music is very pleased to welcome Stephanie back to the Keyed Up! recital series in 2009.
