In this floor talk of 'Configured: Aspects of contemporary WA art', artist and curator Kevin Robertson will discuss current preoccupations of Western Australian figurative artists. Kevin will consider representational painting within an international context and cover factors, including Postmodernism, that he believes have revitalised its position in contemporary art. Kevin's work is represented in 'Configured'.
'Configured: Aspects of Western Australian figurative art' is on display at the Lawrence Wilson Art Gallery from 18 June until 2 August. Admission is free.
