CONCERT: WA GUITAR ENSEMBLE

GUITARSTROPHE is a guitar ensemble of about thirty excellent young guitarists with a world reputation. Its founder, John Casey, who received an honorary doctorate from UWA in March, has been the Director of the Ensemble since he formed it in 1974. GUITARSTROPHE regularly performs at important international events. This concert will raise funds for a 2007 trip to Europe for several concerts and a CD recording. GUITARSTROPHE has a very interesting repertoire of classical and contemporary pieces. This concert will feature works by Roux, Dyens and Garcia.
