Evermore : Evermore get out of the cold for an intimate (and warm) theatre tour. Other events...
Being isolated for a week in a snowed-in recording studio can do strange things to people. In Evermore's case, it reminded them just how much they enjoy the freedom of touring.

Back in Australia after an eight month recording period, those musical wunderkids are champing at the bit to share their new songs with their audience. To make things as comfortable as possible, they have put together a very special intimate theatre tour of five capital cities.

'Real Life' is the name of the new album, and it's a record that has been lovingly crafted, from the quiet genesis in their home studios of the Central Coast, to recording with US producer John Alagia at the world-famous Longview Studios in Massachussets, and finishing off in The Village Studio in Los Angeles.

"There's nothing like making an album that makes you wanna go out and play some rock shows," says drummer Dann Hume. These shows are going to be very exciting because there's a bunch of new tunes that have been begging to be onstage for months now. Expect some surprises!"

'Real Life' will prove that their debut Dreams (nominated for five ARIA awards) was no mere fluke, and will be the band's first release through their new world-wide record deal with Sire Music/Warner Bros, due out later this year.

Joining Evermore for the tour are fresh faced Melbournites The Exploders, living up to their name by bursting onto Triple J with their anthemic Big Hair Revolution (debut album out soon through EMI).

Always ones to impart gifts, Evermore will be releasing a special edition EP (available only at the shows), featuring My Guiding Light from 'Real Life', two exclusive Evermore b-sides, and a track courtesy of The Exploders.
