CONCERT: KEYED UP! PIANO RECITAL ONE: TAMARA ANNA CISLOWSKA

If your Mother loves piano music then this recital by Tamara Anna Cislowska would be a wonderful way to spend the early evening of Mothers' Day. The programme features Bach, Brahms, Prokofiev and ends with Lizst's spectacularly romantic Concert Paraphrase from Faust by Gounod.

Tamara Anna Cislowska is one of Australia’s best known and awarded pianists of her generation, already having five solo albums and discs with the Sydney Symphony Orchestra, the New Zealand Symphony Orchestra and the London Philharmonic to her credit. Her career began very early studying with her Mother and giving her first performance at the age of two as well as recording several pieces for ABC radio at the age of three.

Her repertoire now includes 40 piano concertos and she has given 15 world premieres of new works. Her concert engagements have included tours of the USA and Japan and performances at festivals in the UK, Germany and Italy as well as throughout Australia.
