Judith Lucy - I Failed! : In 2006 Judith Lucy is getting back on stage with a show that will give you an insight into what it feels like to be sacked in front of several millions of your closest friends. Other events...
In 2004 Judith Lucy got herself a job as the host of a breakfast radio show for the country's biggest radio network in the nation's biggest market - Sydney. By the end of 2004 Judith lucy had been demoted to the drive shift and sent back to Melbourne.

By the middle of 2005 Judith Lucy got sacked.

In 2006 Judith Lucy is getting back on stage with a show that will give you an insight into what it feels like to be sacked in front of several millions of your closest friends.

But it's not all gloom and doom, Judith will also be taking you to places you have never been before with tales of colonic irrigation and her impending nuptials (yes, she's a fiancé these days).

I Failed is a chance for you to catch up with what has been happening in Judith's world, and in a way the sacking was a blessing. After shows about her adoption, the death of her parents and multiple relationship disasters Judith was looking like being light on for material until commercial radio stepped to her aid. A show about a great relationship and a successful radio gig just wouldn't have cut the mustard.

Judith Lucy is probably Australia's finest stand-up comedian. She first hit the scene in 1989 as a stand-up but sprang to national prominence in 1993 as part of the cast of ABC-TV's, The Late Show. She did a tour of duty on Triple J and was a regular on Martin/Molloy. Her live stage shows have been what has set Judith apart. Since her 1996 hit, King of the Road, Judith has been a regular fixture on the live scene, selling out big rooms with her sharply observed and honest personal monologues.

In 2004 Judith Lucy was announced as the host of the 2DAY-FM Breakfast Show in Sydney. Unless you are reading this media release backwards you know what happens next.
