PUBLIC TALK: John Peart - Artist's Talk

John Peart speaks on his work, ideas and development over a forty year period as one of Australia's leading artists. John Peart first came to prominence through 'The Field' exhibition in 1968. He continues to this day to push beyond the predictable, and remains committed to abstraction and artistic experimentation. This will be the only chance to hear him speak, at the sole Western Australian venue for this nationally touring exhibition.
'John Peart Paintings 1964-2005' opens at the Lawrence Wilson Art Gallery on Sunday 13 November 2005 and will be on display until 13 December 2005.
