HEALING WITHOUT VIOLENCE : A UWA Extension Workshop Other events...
Healing Without Violence is a way of dealing with issues both with in ourselves and a way of collective Healing in our Country. In our community there is an issue of inter-generational violence as a result of Indigenous children being taken away some never to return to their people. Many of these issues were raised in the Gordon Inquiry into family violence and child abuse. These are matters of significance for all Australians. Healing Without Violence is an important way of using narrative as part of a healing process and calls for people to seek healing through restorative justice models (this was a model used by Institute for Healing of Memories in South Africa).

Lunch is included in the fee.

These seminars and workshops are a respectful partnership with the Coalition of Peoples and Amnesty International Australia.
