“A Sunday Afterchoons Concert”
Guitarstrophe has become a world benchmark for large guitar ensembles. It was formed in 1974 by John Casey, who continues to be its Musical Director. The ensemble is made up of approximately thirty excellent young guitarists. Guitarstrophe has a very interesting repertoire of classical pieces and some works composed especially for the ensemble. After a successful tour in England and Germany, late 2004, Guitarstrophe will participate in the Darwin International Guitar Festival in July. This concert at UWA will raise funds to cover some of the ensemble's expenses.
Tickets: $15 Adults, $13 Concessions
