Clouds form an important component of Penny Bovell's painting practice. In this talk she considers the paradox of imaging the sky, discussing recent work including her Bunkers Bay and Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital public art commissions.

This talk is in asssociation with the exhibition 'Clouded Over:Representations of Clouds in Art' on display at the Lawrence Wilson Art Gallery until 19 December.

Penny Bovell is Lecturer in Visual Art in the Faculty of Architecture, Landscape and Visual Art at UWA.
