PUBLIC TALK: Cloud Stories
Brian Kowald, a weather observer at the Bureau of Meteorology in Perth, looks at the clouds on a daily basis. Brian has observed clouds in many locations from Antarctica and Central Australia, to Christmas Island and the Cocos Islands. In this talk he describes how clouds are formed, what each cloud is telling us about the atmosphere, and will share some of the extraordinary clouds he has met.
This talk is part of a series of Friday lunchtime talks in relation to the exhibition 'Clouded Over: Representations of Clouds in Art' currently on display at the Lawrence Wilson Art Gallery.
