Join us for a Gala Concert celebrating the 60th Birthday of one of Australia's most distinguished musicians - Roger Smalley.
Internationally renowed as composer, pianist and conductor, Roger Smalley has been at the forefront of Australia music since settling in Perth in 1976.
To celebrate this milestone, UWA Music and Tura Events in association with the Australia Piano Quartet present works by Roger Smalley performed by his distinguished colleagues at UWA Music, past students and friends. The concert also features the premiere performance of Cathie Travers' new Piano Quartet, performed by the Australian Piano Quartet, an ensemble of which Roger Smalley was a founding member.
