Renowned Australian pianist Michael Kieran Harvey has enjoyed a close association with UWA Music over the last 10 years. Winner of four consecutive Mo awards for Australia’s Best Classical Performer, he is also the first Australian to win a major international piano competition. Michael Kieran Harvey has performed worldwide and has numerous recordings to his credit, including an acclaimed set of Messiaen’s monumental “Vingt Regards”, recorded at UWA. His recitals unleash a technical and emotional tour de force that leaves audiences spellbound.
